Ford's Fleet Manufacturer of the Year hat trick

20 March, 2009 - Fleet managers made Ford their manufacturer of the year at the 21st annual Fleet News awards. Thousands of authenticated fleet decision-makers voted for Ford as title winner via the magazine's secure and audited website.

Ford Galaxy means business

11 February 2009 – The Ford Galaxy has won BusinessCar MPV of the year for the third consecutive time – the only awards in the market that are solely decided by the readership.

2009 - Ford Transit starts new year with motorhome award

Ford Transit has won its first award for 2009. For the second year running, Transit was judged the best base vehicle by Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly (MMM) magazine.

Ford Vans Retain Fleet Industry Crown For 14th Year

8 December, 2008 – Fleet insiders at the Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) have once again given their top commercial vehicle award to Transit and Transit Connect. Ford Transit was awarded Fleet Panel Van of the Year for the 14th successive year and Transit Connect won Fleet Light Van for the sixth successive year.

Ford Collects Ultimate Fleet Van Award

4 December, 2008 – Ford claimed the ultimate accolade at the inaugural Fleet Van Awards ceremony this week (Tuesday) - Van Manufacturer of the Year. The award was based on a recent survey conducted by Fleet News on more than 169,000 vans.

2008 – Ford voted Manufacturer of the Year at Fleet Van Awards

Significantly, this was a unanimous decision from the judges. The main factors were our model range, cost, reliability, aftersales back-up and parts availability.

2008 – Ford Transit Connect wins ACFO Fleet Light Van of the Year

This is the sixth time the Transit Connect has triumphed in this category. Kevin Griffin, Ford Fleet Operations Director, commented: “We are aware that there is a great deal of choice in the marketplace and to be voted best Fleet Panel Van and best Fleet Light Van by the members of the Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) makes us very proud of our investment.”

2008 – Ford voted ‘Fleet News’ Fleet Manufacturer of the Year

2008 – Ford Mondeo is ‘Fleet News’ Company Car of The Year and Best Large Family Car

The Ford Transit carried off the Best Medium Van award (over 2.2 up to and including 2.8 tonnes). Kevin Griffin, Ford Fleet Operations Director, had this to say about its ongoing success story:
