Ford Fleet Pricing Update - IMMEDIATE ATTENTION
Effective from: 1st and 3rd March 2008
Effective March 1st and 3rd 2008, there will be pricing increases across selected vehicles in Ford’s range.

1st March pricing actions apply to the 2007.25.MY Ford Fiesta Van, 2007MY Ford Transit Connect, and 2006.75.MY Ford Ranger, excluding Wildtrak.

3rd March pricing actions apply to the 2008.5MY Ford Mondeo, Business Car of the Year, Ford S-MAX Mini MPV of the Year and the Ford Galaxy MPV of the Year. All awards were voted for by readers of Business Car magazine.

Additionally we are pleased to announce the release of the eagerly awaited 2.2TDCi 175PS engine for the Mondeo Titanium X model and the 1.8TDCi 125PS ECOnetic model based on the Mondeo Zetec which emits less than 140g/km of C02. Both will be available from 3rd March, 2008.

Customer Order Price Protection (COPP)
Customer Order Price Protection (COPP) applies to 2007.25MY Fiesta Van*, 2007MY Transit Connect* and 2006.75MY Ranger, excluding Wildtrak where the customer Contract Date is 29th February 2008 or earlier and gate release date is 1st March 2008 or after. The Contract Date is based on the date when the Advice of Contract is received by Ford, either from a Ford dealership or through the Ford Business Centre. A Contract Date prior to 28th February 2008 will ensure that COPP is granted automatically and that you are billed at the correct price. This may be in the form of a credit note. (Note: Contract Dates will be subject to audit and can only be pre-dated by up to three days).

Customer Order Price Protection (COPP)
Customer Order Price Protection (COPP) applies to 2008.5MY Mondeo*, S-MAX* and Galaxy where the customer Contract Date is 3rd March 2008 or earlier and gate release date is 2nd March 2008 or after. Ford Assistance
As you are aware, every new Ford vehicle includes roadside assistance from 'Ford Assistance' for 12 months on passenger cars and 36 months on commercial vehicles. We wish to make you aware of a change to the Terms & Conditions of the 'Ford Assistance' programme.

Please note that on Ford vehicles registered on or after March 1st 2008, Ford Assistance will not provide free-of-charge assistance for the following 'customer-induced faults':
  • Fuel – run out of fuel or use of the wrong fuel
  • Keys – keys mislaid (lost or stolen) or keys locked inside vehicle
In the event of a customer induced fault, the driver may call the usual number for Ford Assistance (0800 111234). However, before attending, Ford Assistance will advise the cost of the callout and/or local recovery (costs may vary according to circumstances). It will be the responsibility of the vehicle's driver to cover these costs.

Vehicles registered before March 1st 2008 are unaffected by this change.

Full terms and conditions will be available from this site from 1st March 2008.

Ford's unique Easy Fuel system, with its patented mis-fuelling inhibitor, launched on the new Ford Mondeo and now also fitted as standard on the new Ford Focus, will eliminate the most frequently occurring type of customer-induced fault, placing the wrong type of fuel into the vehicle.
