Effective April 1st 2008, there will be pricing increases across selected vehicles in Ford’s car range.

Pricing actions apply to Ford Ka, Ford Fiesta, Ford Fusion, new Ford Focus and Ford C-MAX. These actions and price protection information are detailed below:

In addition, please be aware that all cars are subject to a government increase in Vehicle Excise Duty from 1st April 2008. New price lists for Ford Focus Coupé-Cabriolet , Ford Mondeo, Ford S-MAX and Ford Galaxy will be issued on 1st April 2008 to reflect these changes. This will not impact the OTR price of these Ford cars, however for your information, these increases are:

From October 27th 2008, Transport For London are making adjustments to London Congestion Charging, and vehicles with Euro 4 compliant engines which produce less than 120g/km of CO2 will qualify for an exemption. We are pleased to advise you that there are currently 28 models within the Ford range meeting these criteria and will therefore qualify for exemption from London Congestion Charging.

Customer Order Price Protection applies to Ford Ka 2006MY*, Ford Fiesta 2007.25MY*, Ford Fusion 2007.25MY*, new Ford Focus 2008.25MY* and Ford C-MAX 2008.25MY* where the customer Contract Date is 31st March 2008 or earlier and gate release date is 1st April 2008 or after. The Contract Date is based on the date when the Advice of Contract is received by Ford, either from a Ford dealership or through the Ford Business Centre. A Contract Date prior to 31st March 2008 will ensure that Customer Order Price Protection is granted automatically and that you are billed at the correct price. This may be in the form of a credit note. (Note: Contract Dates will be subject to audit and can only be pre-dated by up to three days).

Vehicles registered before April 1st 2008 are unaffected by this change.
