All industry-leading Ford Transit Tipper models will include as standard a top and bottom hinged tailboard using an off-side remote lever to operate the 'Tip-Thru' or tip-hinged function, whilst the body position sense switches have been significantly upgraded to improve durability. Additionally, the 3-way Tipper now features a remote, pluggable, hand-held control as standard.

Revised Pricing

To reflect the product enhancements outlined above, price increases have been applied across the Transit One-Stop range and the starting prices are detailed in the table below:

Additionally, the Transit Curtainside prices have been realigned, with prices starting at £27,436 (OTR, excluding VAT) for the 350L and £27,686 (OTR, excluding VAT) for the 350 Extended Frame.

Customer Order Price Protection applies to Transit One-Stop models where the customer Contract date is 31st May 2008 or earlier and gate release date is 1st June 2008 or after.

The Contract Date is based on the date when the Advice of Contract is received by Ford, either from a Ford dealership or through the Ford Business Centre. A Contract Date prior to 31st May 2008 will ensure that Customer Order Price Protection is granted automatically and that you are billed at the correct price. (Note: Contract Dates will be subject to audit and can only be pre-dated by up to three days).
