Effective from 7th May 2007, the following product enhancements for the 2007.5MY S-MAX and new Galaxy will take effect:

• Standardisation of Electronic Stability Programme (ESP)
• Introduction of a new 2.0 TDCi Duratorq (130PS) Automatic engine

Additionally, the Ford S-MAX Titanium sees the following specification enhancements:

• Standardisation of the Ford Convers+ Human Machine Interface
• Standardisation of Sony CD/radio

There are no pricing actions for the new Ford Galaxy as a result of the introduction of Electronic Stability Programme across the range for the 2007.75 Model Year, or for the VED band changes/the new DVLA first registration fee announced in the Chancellor’s recent Budget.

Effective May 7th 2007, reflecting the new 2007.75 Model Year, VED band and DVLA first registration fee change there will be a price increase on the Ford S-MAX. This action and price protection information are detailed below:

Customer Order Price Protection (COPP) applies where the customer Contract Date is 6th May 2007 or earlier and gate release date is 7th May or after. The Contract Date is based on the date when the Advice of Contract is received by Ford, either from a Ford dealership or through the Ford Business Centre. A Contract Date prior to 7th May 2007 will ensure that COPP is granted automatically and that you are billed at the correct price. This may be in the form of a credit note. (Note: Contract Dates will be subject to audit and can only be pre-dated by up to three days).
