Ford offers two services to Independent Operators: Technical Information and Services (eTIS) as well as Technical Training. These services are intended for use by commercial automotive repairers and other professional organisations.

Each VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is unique to each Ford vehicle and is not only essential for security purposes, but can also be used to establish the build date of each vehicle.
