Hotfiel Sport

German-based Hotfiel Sport has selected to run 2 Ford Focus' in this season's WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) as a customer team. The Focus RS WTCC has been developed by Ford TeamRS with the touring car kit and meets the Super 2000 Touring Car regulations.

Team Hotfiel Sport was established in 1983. It has developed various components for diesel racing vehicles as well as participated in a number of motoring events outside of Germany. The relationship with Ford Motor Company began in 2000 when Hotfiel developed and raced Ford Focuses in the German Touring Car Challenge.

Thomas Klenke
Thomas Klenke is 38 years old, comes from Lemgo in Germany and is married with one child. His first championship title was in 2002 when he drove a Ford Focus ST in the German Touring Car Challenge (DTC).

Thomas Jager
Thomas Jager is single and a student studying Business Administration. He is 28 years old and has participated on numerous occasions in the DTM (German Touring Car Championship). He has achieved a double victory in the first race of the 2004 Mini Challenge and competed in the Nurburgring 24-hour finishing 6th overall.
